Important Reminders:

• THIS Thursdsay, December 4th is our Kinder-3rd Grade Winter Celebration music performance at the Yukon Fine Arts Center (850 Yukon Ave). Door open / Arrive at 6:00 pm. Performance begins at 6:30 pm.

• Next Friday, December 12th is our Papa John's Fundraiser day for PTO. 20% of sales will come back to our school for teacher appreciation. The fundraiser goes all day long! Be sure to use the Promo Code SCHOOL1 and mention Shedeck's fundraiser when ordering. Thank you for your support!

• Check the calendar for your student's Winter Class Party Time. Parents are invited to attend winder class parties, but please limit to 2 guests per student, and NO younger siblings are to attend. Be on the lookout for a text/email invite to RSVP/early check-in for class parties. This will help the visitor check-in process go smoothly on party days.

• Kindergarten is selling Candy Cane Grams for .50 now until December 12th

• Holiday Dress Up Week will be December 15-19. Check the newsletter/calendar for details.

Friendly Reminders: We are honoring Veterans at our Veteran's Day Assembly next Friday, November 7th. If you have a Veteran in your family who would like to attend, make sure you have RSVPed to Mrs. Wilmes by THIS Friday, October 31st so that we know how many to accommodate for our reception following the assembly.

We are excited for McTeacher Night coming up next Thursday, November 6th at the McDonald's located at 4 S Mustang Rd. Come see your favorite Shedeck teachers as they serve up dinner - don't forget to bring cash for cookies and coupon books!

Trunk or Treat is still on for TONIGHT at Shedeck! Weather permitting, we will be in the parking lot. If it decides to rain, we will move inside the halls of the school. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight 5-6:30pm!

We're glad to be back at school after fall break, and we've got a BUSY next couple of weeks! Trunk or Treat is THIS Thursday the 23rd from 5-6:30pm. We still need candy donations - thank you for your help in making this event a success! The three classes in the running for most candy donated are: Gilreath, Chatelain, & Orr! Picture Retake Day is THIS Friday the 24th! And next week is Safe & Healthy Choices week with dress up opportunities each day.

TONIGHT is PTO's Whataburger fundraiser - stop by between 5-8pm tonight, mention Shedeck's fundraiser, and 15% of sales will go to Shedeck to help fund teacher/staff appreciation this year! Thank you for your support!

• FALL BREAK is October 13-17

Here's the latest Walk-A-Thon update! We are still collecting donations, and we still have 10 more walk-a-thon gear sets of sunglasses/sweatbands.

The deadline cutoff for donations to get top student and class prizes will be 8:00am on Friday! The walk-a-thon will be held Friday morning, and the Glow Party will be in the afternoon.

Shedeck's 3rd annual Walk-a-Thon is ONE WEEK from today! Check out our latest $$ update, and remember you can still send donations in up until 8am Friday the 26th!

We are PAST HALFWAY to our $10,000 goal! Don't forget that Friday, September 12th is the deadline to send enough $ for your walk-a-thon gear ( at least $15 for sunglasses/sweatband) and for a glow party pack (at least $50 for light-up gear for the glow party).

Let's see how much we can raise by the end of Friday!!

We have raised over $2000 so far!

Remember - turn in enough Walk-A-Thon Pledge money by THIS FRIDAY to receive walk-a-thon / glow party gear! That means if you want to get a Glow Party Pack, bring at least $50 by Friday - and if you want sunglasses and a sweatband, bring at least $15 by Friday.

Let's see how much we can raise by the end of the week!
